Police have charged a man following an alleged firearms incident in Albion yesterday afternoon.
Officers were first called to reports a man was seen with a firearm outside a property on Forrest Street on Monday, 27 October about 1.40pm.
Uniform police and Critical Incident Response Unit (CIRT) officers were quick to attend and took the man into custody without incident.
No one was injured.
Investigators searched the man's premises, locating and seizing ammunition and drugs.
The firearm has been confirmed as an imitation firearm.
A 40-year-old Albion man has been charged with possess ammunition, possess a drug of dependence and make threats to kill.
He is expected to face further charges in relation to the incident.
He was bailed to appear before Sunshine Magistrates' Court on 24 February, 2026.
