Police charge man after Frankston tip truck arrest

A 37-year-old man has been charged after an allegedly stolen tip truck was dumped in Frankston earlier this morning.

Detectives noticed the Hino truck, which was allegedly stolen from an address in Highett, travelling in Keysborough about 2.15am.

Police, with the assistance of Air Wing, followed the truck to an undercover carpark in Frankston where the man was arrested nearby.

A Frankston man was charged with burglary, two counts of theft of a motor vehicle and driving whilst disqualified.

He was bailed to appear at Moorabbin Magistrates' Court on 3 August.
