A man will appear in court today charged with multiple offences related to an online gambling company.
In August 2023, officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command began an investigation following reports of an alleged scam.
Police have been told that 14 victims had lost in excess of $2 million in an online gambling scam.
Following inquiries, a 23-year-old man was arrested at Bankstown Police Station yesterday, Tuesday 10 June 2025.
He was charged with 11 counts of dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception, two counts of make false document to obtain financial advantage and one count of demand with menaces/intend to obtain gain advantage.
He was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court today, Wednesday 11 June 2025.
