Police Charge Man After Glenroy Death

Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 23-year-old man from Glenroy with murder after a man was located deceased at a residence in Glenroy earlier today.

Officers attended the residence on Mitchell Street around 4.40am to conduct a welfare check and located a deceased 28-year-old man.

The 23-year-old was arrested by NSW police in Albury earlier this afternoon and charged by Homicide Squad detectives.

He will face Albury Local Court on 20 May where Victorian detectives will apply for his extradition to Victoria.

The investigation remains ongoing.
