Police charge man after Hawthorn East death

Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 58-year-old man following a death in Hawthorn East yesterday afternoon.

The Hawthorn East man has been charged with four offences including recklessly cause serious injury and intentionally cause serious injury.

He has been remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates' Court tomorrow.

The charges relate to the death of a man during an alleged altercation at a Burke Road address just after 3.30pm.
