A man has been charged following an alleged stabbing and hit-run in Piangil on Monday night.
Police were called to reports of a dispute outside a property on Murray Street, where items were allegedly being set on fire and thrown over a fence on 9 February about 9pm.
It is alleged a man got into a white 4WD and deliberately drove into another man, before crashing into the wall of a property and trapping him under the vehicle.
The offender allegedly got out of the 4WD and stabbed a woman.
The 47-year-old Piangil woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
The 61-year-old Piangil man was transported to hospital by road with serious injuries.
The male offender abandoned the 4WD at the scene and allegedly fled in a white wagon.
The 52-year-old Piangil man self-presented at a police station a short time later.
He has since been charged with intentionally cause injury, reckless conduct endangering serious injury and recklessly cause serious injury.
The Piangil man appeared at the Mildura Magistrates' Court today where he was further remanded to 6 May.
Detectives will allege the parties are known to each other.
