Police charge man after investigation into three stabbings - Villawood

A man has been charged following an investigation after three people were allegedly stabbed in Sydney's south west last month.

About 1am (Saturday 3 April 2021), emergency services were called to a unit on Woodville Road, Villawood, following multiple noise complaints.

As police were dispersing the crowd, a 19-year-old man was located on Kirrang Avenue with stab wounds to his stomach, shoulder and thigh.

A short time later, two boys – aged 16 and 17 – presented at Blacktown Hospital with stab wounds.

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command commenced an investigation and yesterday (Wednesday 12 May 2021), arrested a 19-year-old man at Fairfield Police Station.

He was charged with armed with intent to commit indictable offence and affray.

He was granted conditional bail and is expected to appear in Fairfield Local Court on Wednesday 19 May 2021.

As inquiries continue, police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
