A man will face court charged after an alleged road rage incident in Sydney's west today.
About 10.40am today (Friday 20 February 2026), emergency services were called to the M4 tunnel west bound at Concord, following reports of an alleged road rage incident.
On arrival, officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were told a truck carrying sand and a van had collided, before both crashed into the tunnel wall.
The driver of the truck - a 58-year-old man - was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being conveyed to hospital for an assessment of what were believed to be minor injuries.
The driver of the van - a 52-year-old man - was not injured.
Both drivers were subjected to roadside breath tests which returned negative results.
Following inquiries, the 58-year-old man was arrested and taken to Burwood Police Station.
He has since been charged with predatory driving.
The man was bail refused to appear at Local Bail Division - Court 7 tomorrow (Saturday 21 February 2026).
