A man will face court charged following an alleged stabbing in Sydney's southwest yesterday.
About 3.30pm yesterday (Monday 30 March 2026), emergency services were called to Palm Street, Girraween, after reports of a stabbing.
Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command attended and were told three people – who are known to one another – were involved in an alleged altercation before two of the men – aged 30 and 56 – sustained multiple stab wounds to the torso.
A 37-year-old man also sustained injuries to his arms.
All three men were treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to hospital in critical condition.
The 30 and 56-year-old men remain in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident commenced.
Following inquiries, today (Tuesday 31 March 2026), the 37-year-old man was arrested and taken to Granville Police station where he was charged with two counts of attempted murder.
The man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court tomorrow (Wednesday 1 April 2026).
