Police Charge Man After Teen Stabbed At Orange

A man has been charged after a teenage boy was allegedly stabbed at Orange earlier this month.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Goorawin and Nyrang Road shortly before midday on Saturday 4 October 2025, after a 15-year-old boy was found with stab wounds.

He was taken to Orange Hospital for treatment to wounds to his upper body and legs before being airlifted to Sydney Children's Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A crime scene was established as officers attached to Central West Police District commenced an investigation.

Following extensive inquiries, an 18-year-old man was arrested yesterday (Tuesday 14 October 2025), at Tweed Heads Police Station.

He has now been charged with cause wounding/grievous bodily harm to person with intent to murder, and breach of bail.

He has been refused bail to appear before Bail Division 1 Court on Wednesday 15 October 2025.
