Police charge man after theft of Nike clothing from Hoppers Crossing store

Altona North Wayward Taskforce detectives have charged an 18-year-old man following the alleged theft of clothing from a Hoppers Crossing shopping centre last month.

Investigators executed a search warrant at a Werribee address this morning and seized a large amount of Nike clothing.

The Werribee man has been charged with theft from shop and was bailed to appear at Werribee Magistrates' Court on 22 November.

The charges relate to the alleged theft of about $1800 worth of Nike clothing at 5.15pm on 24 March.

Detectives are still searching for one man in relation to the incident.
