A man has been charged following a police shooting on Stud Road in Dandenong on Wednesday, Victoria Police say.
The incident happened after police intercepted a car on Grace Street at 4pm.
A 26-year-old Traralgon man has been charged with attempted armed robbery, assault police, prohibited person carry firearm, possess ammunition and possess controlled weapon.
The man has been remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 2 November.
