Homicide Squad Detectives have today arrested and charged a 58-year-old Rowville man with the murders of Doris McCartney and Ronald Swann in Moorabbin on 22 October 1989.
The charging comes on the back of a public appeal for information and the release of a $1million dollar reward by Victoria Police on 30 March 2021.
The man has been charged with two counts of murder and will appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court later today.
