Police charge man over Langwarrin death

Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the death of a child in Langwarrin on 2 September.

Emergency services were called to an address in Potts Road about 4.10pm after reports that a child was injured.

Crews worked on a 2-year-old boy but he could not be revived.

A 32-year-old Langwarrin man has been charged with one count of murder.

The man will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates' court tomorrow (4 September).

A 34-year-old woman arrested at the scene has been released without charge and is not believed to have been involved in the incident.
