Police charge man over sexual act - Homebush West

Police have charged a man over an alleged sexual act in Sydney's south west.

About 12.15pm yesterday (Wednesday 17 March 2021), a 33-year-old woman was walking along The Crescent, Homebush West when it is alleged a man driving a Ford Falcon stopped near the woman, exposing himself and performed a lewd act before driving away.

The woman reported the incident to Auburn Police Area Command and an investigation was commenced.

Detectives attended an address in Lidcombe later that afternoon where a 46-year-old man was arrested and taken to Burwood Police Station.

He was charged with Carry out sexual act with another without consent and was bail refused to appear at Burwood Local Court today (Thursday 18 March 2021).
