A man has been charged after a stabbing in the state's north on Friday.
Just before 6pm (Friday 26 December 2025), emergency services were called to a restaurant on The Entrance Road, at The Entrance, after reports of a man had been stabbed.
Officers attached to Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended along with NSW Ambulance paramedics who treated a 63-year-old man with stab wounds.
He was airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.
A crime scene was established, and police commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A 40-year-old man – believed to be known to the man – was arrested nearby at Long Jetty, and taken to Wyong Police Station, where he was charged with reckless wounding (domestic violence) and breach of Apprehended Domestic Violence Order.
He was bail refused to appear before Parramatta Bail Court Division 6 today (Saturday 27 December 2025).
