Police charge man with drug trafficking in Hobart

A 20-year-old Southern Tasmanian man has been charged with trafficking after a search warrant was executed at a Hobart premises on Saturday.

As a result of the search a significant quantity of LSD and MDMA, as well as a large quantity of cash, was located and seized. The drugs have an estimated street value of $60,000.

The man was arrested at the scene and charged with the major offence of trafficking in controlled substance.

He will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court in July.
