Police charge man with high-range PCA at Dubbo 1 May

A man will face court this month charged with high-range drink driving in the state's Central West.

About 10:30am yesterday (Thursday 30 April 2020), police received complaints about a vehicle being driven north on Wheelers Lane, Dubbo

A short time later, officers attached Orana Mid-Western Police District located a Toyota Hilux on Wheelers Lane, stopped north of Birch Avenue.

The driver, a 42-year-old man, was subject to a roadside breath test, returning a positive result.

He was arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station where a breath analysis returned an alleged reading of 0.290.

The man was charged with high-range PCA and granted conditional bail to face Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday 27 May 2020.

His licence was also suspended.
