Police charge man with high-range PCA - Narellan Vale

A Narellan Vale man will face court next month charged with high-range drink driving in Sydney's west yesterday.

About 10.55am (Sunday 17 November 2019), police attached to Campbelltown Highway Patrol were travelling east on Welling Drive when they recorded a white Hyundai sedan travelling nearly 20km over the speed limit.

They stopped the vehicle and subjected the driver to a roadside breath test, which allegedly proved positive.

The 49-year-old man was arrested and taken to Narellan Police Station where he underwent a breath analysis which allegedly returned a positive reading of 0.205.

He has been charged with exceeding the speed limit by 10km/h and high-range PCA. He was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice to attend Picton Local Court on Tuesday 10 December 2019.

His licence was immediately suspended.
