A man has now been charged following a shooting at Parkes yesterday.
Just before 5pm (Monday 24 June 2019), emergency services were called to Porter Street after receiving information a man had been shot.
The 25-year-old man was taken to Parkes Hospital where he later died.
Another man, aged 18, was arrested at the scene and taken to Parkes Police Station where he was charged with murder.
He was refused bail and will appear in Parkes Local Court today (Tuesday 25 June 2019).
