Police charge man with outstanding warrant for commercial cocaine supply

A man will appear in court today charged with an outstanding warrant over the alleged commercial supply of cocaine across Sydney.

In April 2017, detectives from the State Crime Command established Strike Force Melinz to investigate the supply of cocaine across Sydney.

Following extensive inquiries, investigators from the Criminal Groups Squad arrested a 46-year-old man at Surry Hills Police Station just after 7am today (Friday 3 April 2020).

The Concord man was charged with an outstanding warrant for supply prohibited drug (large commercial quantity).

It will be alleged in court that the man supplied 1kg of cocaine in August 2017.

The man was refused bail to appear at Central Local Court today (Friday 3 April 2020).
