A man has been charged with multiple offences following a serious domestic violence incident in the state's south coast.
About 8pm last night (Sunday 11 May 2025), officers attached to South Coast Police District attended a home on Yeovil, Drive, Bombaderry, and spoke with a 51-year-old woman, who advised she had been threatened and intimidated by a man known to her.
A short time later, police attended a home on Tanang Street, Bombaderry, to speak with a 55-year-old man; however, upon arrival police will allege the man jumped a rear fence.
A search of the surrounding area was conducted with the assistance of the Dog Unit, Polair and Fire and Rescue NSW.
About 1.45am today (Monday 12 May 2025), the man was arrested hiding behind bushes in the front yard of a home on Birriley Street, Bombaderry.
He was taken to Nowra Police Station and charged with two counts stalk / intimidate intend fear physical harm.
He was refused bail and appeared before Nowra Local Court today (Monday 12 May 2025), where bail was formerly refused, to appear before the same Court on Tuesday 27 May 2025.
