Police Charge Man With Superannuation Fraud In North

A man has been charged with alleged fraud offences in Sydney's north-west.

In November 2024, officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command established an investigation under Strike Force Flowerpot after five people reported the alleged unauthorised access to self-managed super funds.

Following inquiries, about 7.15am Tuesday (6 May 2025), officers attached Riverstone Police Area Command executed a search warrant at a house in Caddies Boulevard, Rouse Hill.

A 40-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to Riverstone Police Station.

It will be alleged the man defrauded $160,184 during this time.

He was charged with five counts of dishonestly obtain financial advantage etc by deception.

The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Blacktown Local Court on Monday 16 June 2025.
