A teenage boy will face court charged with an alleged firearm offence in Sydney's northwest.
About 4pm yesterday (Saturday 11 October 2025), officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command were called to Garfield Road East, Riverstone, following reports of a person allegedly being threatened by a youth with a firearm.
Police attended and spoke to a 13-year-old boy; however, no firearms were detected.
About 8pm yesterday, the boy presented to Riverstone Police Station with a relative, where he was arrested.
He was charged with possess unauthorised pistol and granted conditional bail to appear before a Children's Court on Tuesday 28 October 2025.
