Police Charge Three Men After Stabbing - Campsie

Three men have been charged over an alleged stabbing in Sydney's south-west today.

About 8.45am (Friday 8 August 2025), police were called to a hospital in Campsie after a man had presented with stab wounds to his head.

On arrival, officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command were told about 8am, the 34-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by three men – at least one of whom is believed to be known to him - inside a unit on Beamish Street, Campsie.

The man, and a woman known to him, then attended the hospital a short time later. The motorcycle they travelled on was seized for forensic examination.

Officers established a crime scene at the unit and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Police believe the incident is targeted.

Three machetes were located and seized from the unit for forensic examination.

Following inquiries, about 9.50am, police arrested three men – aged 43, 44 and 45 – on Beamish Street, Campsie.

They were taken to Campsie Police Station.

All three men were charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. The 44-year-old man was also charged with possess prohibited drug.

All three men were refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court tomorrow (Saturday 9 August 2025).
