Three men will face court on drug-related charges after allegedly dealing prohibited drugs in front of plain clothed licensing police in the state's Central West.
About 6.20pm Friday (26 July 2019), plain clothed licensing police attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District were conducting duties at a licensed premise on Gipps Street in Dubbo.
Police observed a group of four men who were allegedly acting suspiciously after gathering in front of an unmarked police vehicle.
When approached by police it is alleged one man, aged 20, attempted to swallow a large clear resealable bag.
Police apprehended the man, and on inspection it is alleged the bag contained five MDMA capsules.
Police searched the remaining three men, allegedly locating a further eight MDMA capsules on two men, aged 20 and 23.
The three men were arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station where they were charged with multiple drug offences.
One 20-year-old man was charged with supply prohibited drug and possess prohibited drug. He was granted conditional bail to appear before Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday 18 September 2019.
The remaining two men were issued field court attendance notices to appear before Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday 18 September 2019.
