Police charge three over affray on train - Inner West PAC

Three men have been charged with affray following an alleged fight on a Sydney train.

Officers made a public appeal for assistance earlier this week as investigations continued into an alleged confrontation on a train within the Inner West Police Area Command about 7.15pm on Sunday 2 February.

A 26-year-old man was arrested at Reeve Street, Waterloo, about 9.30am on Tuesday (11 February 2020).

He was taken to Newtown Police Station, where he was charged with affray.

The man appeared in Newtown Local Court later that day, where he was formally granted bail to reappear at the same court on Tuesday 25 February 2020.

Earlier today (Wednesday 12 February 2020), two men, aged 40 and 43, were arrested at Newtown Police Station, where they were both charged with affray.

Both men were granted conditional bail and are due to appear in Newtown Local Court on Thursday 12 March 2020.
