Police charge three over Launceston motor vehicle incident

Three people have been charged over an incident involving a stolen motor vehicle in Launceston yesterday.

An 18 year old Invermay woman was bailed last night to appear in Launceston Magistrates Court on 17 November. The woman was charged with motor vehicle stealing and stealing.

A 22 year old man from no fixed address was detained for court and charged with motor vehicle stealing and refuse to comply with a drug test. He will appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court at 11.30am.

A 28 year old Rocherlea man was detained for court and charged with motor vehicle stealing, reckless driving, aggravated evade, drive while disqualified, refuse oral fluid test, fail to remain at the scene of a crash and stealing.

He will also appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court at 11.30am today.
