Police Charge Two Men After Dandenong Death

Homicide Squad detectives have today charged two men in relation to the death of a man in Dandenong earlier this month.

Three search warrants were executed this morning in Doveton, Blackburn South and Endeavour Hills with the assistance from Greater Dandenong and Manningham Crime Investigation Units.

A 27-year-old Doveton man and a 34 -year-old Blackburn South man were arrested and have subsequently been charged with murder.

They will appear before the Melbourne Magistrates Court on 29 August.

A 33-year-old Endeavour Hills woman was also arrested.

She was and interviewed and has since been released pending further enquiries.

Today's arrests follow an incident on 19 August where a man was located on the Princess Highway about 4.50am with a number of stab wounds.

Paramedics treated the 39-year-old Dandenong man however he died at the scene.

Police will allege the parties involved were known to each other.
