Police charge two men over affray - Kirribilli

Two men have been charged after one of the men was injured during an affray at Kirribilli overnight.

About 2.40am (Wednesday 22 April 2020), emergency services were called to hotel accommodation on Carabella Street, after reports a man had been injured.

Officers from North Shore Police Area Command attended and found a 36-year-old man suffering lacerations to his back and head.

Police have been told that the man was injured when he was struck with a coffee mug during a physical altercation with another guest.

A 28-year-old man was arrested nearby and taken to Chatswood Police Station.

The older man was treated by paramedics and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Upon release, he was arrested and taken to Chatswood Police Station.

Both men were charged with affray and granted conditional bail to appear at Manly Local Court on Thursday 9 July 2020.
