Police charge two men over affray - Riverstone

Two men have been charged following a fight in Sydney's west this morning.

Just before 4.30am (Tuesday 26 January 2021), officers from Quakers Hill Police Area Command responded to reports of a brawl at a home on Dhaya Street, Riverstone.

Police have been told three men – aged 19, 22 and 23 – were fighting inside a home, before a 20-year-old man intervened.

Shortly after, it's alleged the fight move outside the home and the 19-year-old man damaged a Mercedes Benz parked in the driveway.

Following inquiries, officers arrested two of the men – aged 19 and 21.

A third man, aged 22 was taken to hospital suffering minor injuries.

The 19-year-old Schofields man was charged with affray and malicious damage.

The 21-year-old Riverstone man was charged with affray.

Both men were refused bail and will appear before Blacktown Local Court tomorrow (Wednesday 27 January 2021).
