Police charge two teens after cars broken into at train stations in Melbourne's south

Transit Divisional Response Unit detectives charged two teenagers following a series of thefts from cars in Melbourne's south.

It is alleged offenders broke into more than 50 cars at four train station carparks including Cranbourne, Hallam, Berwick and Merinda Park on Thursday 30 January.

Two Frankston boys, aged 14 and 16, have both been charged with more than 100 theft and criminal damage related offences.

They will appear at a children's court at a later date.
