Frankston police have charged a woman following a Seaford Pursuit and crash early yesterday morning.
It is alleged the 25-year-old was the driver of an Audi, displaying cloned plates driving erratically about 3am.
The vehicle allegedly attempted to ram a police vehicle, forcing the officers to take evasive action.
A short time later, the vehicle crashed into a pole and caught fire.
The Frankston North woman has been charged with a range of offences including, dangerous driving whilst being pursued by police, reckless exposure of police officer to risk by driving x2, fail to stop on police direction and unlicensed driving.
The passengers, a 31-year-old man also from Frankston North and a 32-year-old year man from Carrum Downs, were released pending further enquiries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
