A woman has been charged following the death of an infant in Southbank in July.
The 35-year-old Southbank woman was charged with one count of child homicide today.
The charges follow police being called to a property in Kavanagh Street on Saturday 18 July after a baby was found unresponsive about 7.20am.
The woman has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 2 September 2020.
