Police have charged woman following a theft of wigs last month.
The arrest comes after a woman allegedly entered the Lennox Street business on 22 September around 3.30pm.
It is alleged the woman placed four wigs into her jacket and a bag and left the store, accompanied by a man waiting outside for her.
The wigs were in the reception area as they were about to be taken to hospital to be given to children with cancer.
This morning officers executed a warrant at a property in Clayton South and arrested a woman.
The 45-year-old woman was interviewed and charged with theft and commit indictable offence whilst on bail.
She will appear at the Moorabbin Magistrates' Court on 30 October.
The investigation remains ongoing.
