A woman has been charged over a hit-run in Armadale this morning which left a woman in a critical condition.
It is alleged the victim was struck by a vehicle on Wattletree Road, approaching Kooyong Road, while boarding a tram about 6.30am.
The 26-year-old Armadale woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A 23-year-old Mount Waverley woman has been charged with dangerous driving causing serious injury, failure to stop at the scene of an accident and failure to render assistance.
The woman will appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court this evening.
