Police charge woman over Ingleburn death

A woman has been charged as investigations continue into the death of a man following a brawl outside a home in Ingleburn last year.

Just before 9.40pm on Friday 24 May 2019, emergency services were called to Chester Road, Ingleburn, after reports of a brawl involving a large group of people.

The brawl is believed to have begun during a party at a home on Chester Road, before it spilled onto the street.

Upon the arrival of officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command the crowds began to disperse.

An 18-year-old man was located on the roadway with serious head injuries.

He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics, who conveyed him to Liverpool Hospital, where he later died.

Detectives from Campbelltown City Police Area Command commenced an investigation resulting in the arrest and charging of two people in May last year for murder.

On Wednesday 18 March 2020, a 27-year-old woman was arrested and charged with concealing a serious indicatable offence and accessory after the fact to murder. She remains before the court.

On Friday 20 March 2020, an 18-year-old man was arrested and taken to Campbelltown Police Station, where he was charged with murder. The man – who was aged 17 at the time of the incident – remains before the courts.

A 15-year-old girl was arrested and charged with concealing a serious offence yesterday (Monday 30 March 2020). She is before the courts.

A 19-year-old woman was charged today (Tuesday 31 March 2020), with concealing a serious offence. She was refused bail and will appear in Campbelltown Local Court tomorrow (Wednesday 1 April 2020).
