Police charge woman with alleged fraud offences - Central Coast

A woman has been charged with alleged fraud offences committed against a not-for-profit organisation and a business on the Central Coast.

In January 2019, officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District commenced an investigation into allegations of fraud offences committed by an employee at a not-for-profit organisation.

The alleged fraud totalled more than $320,000.

Following inquiries, about 8.20pm yesterday (Wednesday 6 March 2019), detectives arrested a 21-year-old woman at a home on Day Street, Wyoming.

She was taken to Gosford Police Station and charged with dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception (x2).

The woman was granted conditional bail to appear at Gosford Local Court on Thursday 21 March 2019.

Inquiries are continuing.
