Police charge woman with drug supply at Wollongong

A woman will face court today charged with drug supply in the Wollongong area.

Acting on information, about 3.30pm yesterday (Monday 3 August 2020), investigators from Wollongong Police District executed a search warrant at a unit complex on Myuna Way, Mangerton.

Police located and seized approximately 400ml of Gamma-butyrolactone (GBL), a crystal substance believed to be methylamphetamine, Suboxone, numerous items associated with the supply of prohibited drugs and multiple mobile handsets.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested and taken to Wollongong Police Station, where she was charged with supply prohibited drug and possess prohibited drug.

She was refused bail and is due to appear in Wollongong Local Court today (Tuesday 4 August 2020).

Investigations are continuing.
