Police concerned for man missing from Illawarra

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Illawarra.

Daniel Gear, aged 36, was last seen leaving his home in Port Kembla on Thursday 9 July 2020.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District were alerted earlier this week when he couldn't be located or contacted.

Concerns are held for his welfare due to a medical condition and police are appealing for assistance from the community to locate him.

Mr Gear is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 190cm tall, with a thin build, dark brown hair and brown eyes.

He is known to frequent the Sydney CBD.

Anyone who sees Mr Gear, or believes they know his whereabouts, is urged to contact police immediately.
