Police concerned for missing Petersham man

Police are appealing for assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's inner west.

Seamus Wheeler, aged 61, was last seen leaving his home on John Street in Petersham about 8.30am on Saturday 27 March 2021.

Officers from Inner West Police Area Command were notified yesterday (Thursday 1 April 2021) when he failed to return home and could not be located or contacted.

Concerns are held for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character and suffers a medical condition.

Seamus is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 193cm tall, with red hair and a slim build.

He was last seen wearing a blue puffer jacket and blue tracksuit pants.

Anyone who sees him is urged to contact police.
