Police concerned for missing teenage girl at Bankstown

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a teenage girl missing from Bankstown.

Rana Kandakji, aged 16, was last seen at a home on Gordon Street, Bankstown, about 11.45pm ( Friday 24 May 2019).

Police and family hold serious concerns for Rana's welfare as she has not been seen or heard from since.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries.

Rana is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 160cm tall, of thin build, with black hair covered by a scarf, and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black Adidas jacket, with gold stripes, black pants, and a beige coloured scarf.

She is known to frequent the Bankstown, Liverpool and Greenacre areas.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
