Police concerned for missing teenager at Bankstown

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenager missing from Sydney's west.

Shayzannie Walkely, aged 13, was last seen at library on Rickard Rd, Bankstown, in the afternoon of Thursday 1 April 2021.

Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command were notified after her family could not contact her after Saturday 10 April 2021, and have since been conducting inquiries into her whereabouts.

Concerns are held for her welfare due to her age.

Shayzannie is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, brown shoulder length hair and brown eyes.

Shayzannie is known to frequent the Bankstown, Burwood and Parramatta areas, however is believed to be in the Newcastle area.
