Police continue to appeal for information on man missing from Hills

Police are re-appealing for public assistance to help locate a man missing from Sydney's north-west as new information indicates the man may be travelling south of Sydney.

Saim Kugashiya, aged 23, was last seen leaving his home in Alford Street, Quakers Hill about 10.25am on Friday 10 September 2021.

Officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command were alerted on Sunday 12 September 2021 and commenced inquiries to locate him.

After receiving information from the public, officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command conducted inquiries, indicating Saim may be travelling between the Wollongong area and Sydney.

Family and police hold concerns for Saim's welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Saim is described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance, about 180 to 185cm tall, of medium build, with short dark hair.

He may be wearing a faded denim hooded jacket, grey t-shirt, long black pants, black 'Nike" shoes and carrying a black backpack.

As inquiries continue into Saim's whereabouts, police are urging anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Sydney City Police on (02) 9265 6499.
