Police continue to investigate Tatura armed robbery

Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad will travel to Tatura this week as part of an ongoing investigation into an armed robbery at a gaming venue last year, Victoria Police say.

Two female staff members were closing up at the Gowrie Street venue about 10pm on 7 December when they were approached by a group of three males.

The men, who were armed with a firearm and a knife, demanded cash from the victims.

A quantity of money was taken and the men left the venue.

While the victims were not physically injured, they were significantly traumatised by the incident.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing and detectives will be in the local area making further enquiries this week.

No one has been arrested in relation to the armed robbery and investigators are keen to speak to anyone who has information regarding the incident.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
