Police have arrested a man following an incident at Modbury early this morning., SA

Just after 6am (20 September) police responded to reports of a disturbance at a home on Kincraig Crescent, according to SA Police.

When patrols arrived, they found a man with a two stab wound to the stomach. He was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment however his injuries are not considered life threatening.

A 34-year-old man from Modbury was arrested at the scene and charged with aggravated assault to cause serious harm. He was refused bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Police would like to advise that this was not a random incident and both parties are known to each other.
