Police hold concerns for welfare of Alice Springs 31 March

Northern Territory Police are seeking public assistance in locating a youth who has been reported as missing in Alice Springs overnight.

Dorothy Cook, who is also known as Jaide Lee, 12, was last seen by family members at a residential address in Sadadeen around 6pm yesterday.

Jaide was reported as missing after she failed to return home, and was not able to be located by family, who searched the area and known locations, yesterday.

Police and family hold concerns for the youth's welfare, as she suffered from an underlying medical condition which requires daily medication.

Jaide is described as being 165cms tall, with a slight built, fair complexion, blonde hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a camo-coloured green top and turn-denim shorts.

Police urge anyone who has seen or knows of Jaide's whereabouts, to contact police immediately o 131 444 or anonymously via crime stoppers on 1800 333 000.
