Police hunt CBD burglar

Detectives from Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for public assistance to identify a man following burglary in Melbourne CBD this month.

Police understand a man broke into a shop on Little Collins Street about 6.30am on 9 February.

The man stole cash from the register before leaving the store.

The man is described as 180cm tall, an olive complexion, unshaven with dark hair and aged between 35-40 years old.

He was wearing dark clothing, a navy blue hat, black runners and was carrying a backpack.
