Police are appealing for public assistance as an investigation is underway after multiple break and enters in Sydney's west.
In February 2026, officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command commenced and investigation following reports several shops were broken into in the Glenwood and Colebee areas on Sunday 8 February 2026.
Incidents of note include:
- Between 1am and 4am, two unknown people attempted to steal an ATM on Glenwood Park Drive, Glenwood.
- About 3.15am, two unknown people forced entry into a shop on Glenwood Park Drive, Glenwood, where two cash registers containing cash were stolen. One of the cash registers was found at a park nearby while the second one was found in Dean Park.
- About 4am, two unknown people broke into a medical business on Glenwood Park Drive, Glenwood. No property was reported stolen.
- Between 2am and 8am, at least two restaurants on Richmond Road, Colebee were broken into before two unknown people stole two cash registers along with cash.
Inquiries have led police to allege the incidents are linked.
As inquiries continue, police are appealing to speak to three people who they believe can assist with their inquiries.
They are believed to be male teenagers and were last seen wearing black hooded jumpers, black tracksuit pants, baseball caps and gloves.
