The Northern Territory Police Force is calling for information in relation to an aggravated robbery that occurred in Alice Springs early this morning.
Around 7:20am, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received a report of an aggravated robbery. It is alleged that at 5:30am, a 43-year-old male was taking photos in the Todd River near a hotel on Barrett Drive, when two unknown males assaulted him and stole his backpack, before fleeing the area on foot.
The victim was uninjured and did not require medical attention.
Police, including the Dog Operations Unit, attended the location and investigations are ongoing.
